JOHANNESBURG - An investigation has been launched into the death of senior state advocate, Addelaid Ferreira Watt.
Watt died in a bizarre gun accident at Ixopo regional court on Monday.
Brigadier Jay Naicker says the accident occurred when a loaded gun accidentally fell and set itself off.
The gun was displayed as evidence during a house robbery case.
The family has requested that their privacy be respected.
